To Monitor Student Learning is to understand your students and staff in a way that allows you, as an administrator to positively affect outcomes in and out of the classroom. Much of my time last year as K-12 Dean of Students was spent getting to know and understand my learning community. I pushed teachers to build a more cohesive, collaborative, teaching unit. I worked to better understand and use our digital student record management system, JMC, and all it has to offer. I have worked with our school counselor and individual teachers to develop a master schedule (below) that works for every teacher and meets the academic needs of our students. And I have been a member of our school's Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) team advocating for enrichment opportunities for ALL students
