As a Social Studies teacher and twenty year member of the military Values and Ethics, the role of an educated citizenry, high expectations, and our mission to cultivate thoughtful future leaders are all concepts near and dear to my heart. My values and beliefs come across clearly in many of my coursework reflections. I work to model the type of caring, informed, citizenship I wish to see in my staff and students. We are truly blessed to live and work in a community that fully supports area veterans and civic organizations. The MBSA Code of Ethics for Administrators reads much like many of the "codes of ethics" to which I have subscribed. It is a useful document that will allow me to set the standard in my new administrative role.
