Can you ever have too much Communication? I say "no" but my teachers may beg to differ. I make every attempt to model clear, open, and honest communication with students, teachers, parents, and community leaders. I emphasize the importance of team work and team building through the facilitation of teacher-led dialogue. I also solicit feedback on many levels as I work to improve my professional communication skills. Sometimes it is important to quit typing an email and speak directly to the intended audience. I have found it easier to listen to my teachers when we are face to face rather than trading emails. But there's also something to be said for positive messages published with clear intent.
