Early Childhood through Grade 12 Leadership is listed in my presentation as both an area of strength AND an area where growth is needed. My strengths in this arena can be found in my ability to work with students, parents, teachers, and staff in both the Elementary and High School setting. As the K-12 Dean of Students last year I worked with the full spectrum of student needs. As far as transitions between grades and programs, I have participated in our "Kindergarten Round Up", our in-coming 7th grader "Moving-Up Day", and as the Senior Class Advisor I helped plan and facilitate high school graduation. My areas of needed growth are in the realm of school-wide curriculum alignment to state standards. As my sphere of influence expands from classroom teacher, to Dean, to Principal I will continue to expand my knowledge base of curriculum development throughout the district.
