Safety and Security, according to my superintendent, the first priority of an administrator. As such we spend a great deal of time discussing policies and procedures for various crisis interventions. Our Emergency Response Guide is an ever-evolving, living, breathing, document that changes regularly to meet the needs of our learning community. I have been a member of our school's Crisis Committee since I was hired and have worked diligently to identify areas of vulnerability to a wide range of threats. I have found, in my short time as a first year principal, that the need to quickly identify and address bullying and harassment related issues is paramount for the general order and welfare of our students.
