Policy and Law is another area in which I know I must increase overall proficiency. I have enjoyed reading case briefs since my Constitutional Law class as an undergraduate. Some of my coursework for ED 631 illustrates that interest. I also receive weekly, if not daily, legal updates from the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) that I read through in order to gauge the most current trends in education law and policy nation-wide. I look forward to improving my aptitude in the policy and law arena through future principal workshops, legal seminars, school board meeting, and the like.
